Press Release : IRONMAN 70.3® Putrajaya Announces TIME As Title Sponsor

Putrajaya, Malaysia (March 4, 2015) IRONMAN® Asia-Pacific is delighted to announce TIME dotCom Berhad (TIME), a leading fixed-line telecommunications provider in Malaysia, as title sponsor for this year’s IRONMAN 70.3® Putrajaya event.

The sport’s core demands of performance, strength, discipline and resilience align perfectly with TIME’s ‘Pushing Performance’ promise, and the qualities inspired by an IRONMAN® athlete.

“This is an exciting new partnership which builds on the powerful synergies IRONMAN® and TIME currently share”, IRONMAN® Asia Pacific CEO Geoff Meyer said. “We are thrilled to be partnering with a well-respected Malaysian brand at this exciting time for IRONMAN® racing in Asia”.

This latest partnership continues TIME’s commitment to growing the recognition of this multi-sport in Malaysia.

TIME currently sponsors Malaysian triathlon team, Team TIME, which provides a platform for talented triathletes to pursue their dreams and to further the country’s performance in international meets with the ambition of Malaysian triathlon representation at the Olympics.

The key highlight of TIME’s title sponsorship is the introduction of a special ‘TIME Corporate Challenge’ Team Category to encourage corporations and organisation to be a part of this amazing event, where the top three teams will be rewarded with trophies and cash prizes.

Through the TIME Corporate Challenge, TIME hopes to encourage other organisations to push the limits of their performance and resilience through a unique avenue such as the TIME IRONMAN 70.3® Putrajaya.

As an added incentive, the first ten corporate teams to register will have their USD405 registration fee refunded. Registration for the TIME Corporate Challenge closes on 23rd March 2015

The IRONMAN 70.3® Putrajaya event will take place on 5 April 2015 at the national administrative capital’s iconic Millennium Monument and Putrajaya Lake, which embody some of the most beautiful natural landscapes and modern architecture in Malaysia.
