Hugo Boss - Boss The Scent

Seduction has become too easy, too available in our post -modern world: Instant visual gratification obtainable without any effort.

HUGO BOSS believes in a different type of seduction. Slow, steady, tense with anticipation, the BOSS way of seduction is an art, which finds a perfect balance between confidence and nonchalance. Tapping into what women really want, it is a masterful orchestration of all the senses. It lasts and is not easily forgotten.

The BOSS man has a presence that delivers seduction in his own unique way. He knows that a whisper can be louder than a shout. Seduction as he plays it is slow, passionate, refined - an experience to be savoured and returned to time after time; engaging all five senses rather than merely one.

The SCENT, the new fragrance, reveals a different aspect of the BOSS man. It pays tribute to his personal rather than professional achievements. This is a man whose success has always proved seductive. It is evident in the way he carries himself, the cut of his suit, and his self -assured charisma.

Now he can discover these qualities in his scent. This distinctive statement about seductiveness marks the brand’s new major fragrance, taking it into the territory of emotional rather than intellectual intelligence.

The Fragrance
BOSS Parfums believes in seduction that invades the mind to leave an enduring mark.

The fragrance that creates this impact is utterly unique. BOSS THE SCENT boasts an exclusive ingredient from Africa: the aphrodisiac Maninka fruit, evocative of passion fruit and rum. However, the Maninka also evokes something deeper and more profound: the tug of desire and the pull of memory. Set on a virile leather base, its effect is potent, original, never to be forgotten.

Top note: spicy ginger makes a spirited and beguiling first impression.
Heart note: the rousing maninka fruit fuses with lavender to swathe the skin in sensuality.
Base note: an intense, burnished leather, lingering like memory, conveys pure, magnetic masculinity.

And, of course, there is another essential ingredient: the BOSS man, who lends his own seductive charm to make an unforgettable impression.
BOSS THE SCENT’s flacon presents an evocative amber juice, set in a silver cage, as if capturing the spirit of seduction before it unleashes its dynamic power.

The Ambassador
The face of BOSS THE SCENT is the charismatic Hollywood actor, Theo James - known for starring in the dystopian sci-fi blockbusters, the Divergent series, and for making an unforgettable impression in Downton Abbey.

Theo James is the personification of the seductive side of the BOSS hero:
confident in his physical presence as he is unselfconsciously aware of his allure.
“I’m honored to be representing BOSS Parfums as an Ambassador in their latest perfume campaign. I have for a long time admired BOSS for achieving the perfect balance between the classic and the contemporary. This campaign encapsulates the iconic spirit of the brand and reflects my own tastes and attitudes towards a truly unique fragrance.”

Theo James, BOSS THE SCENT ambassador
“It’s a pleasure to welcome Theo James to the BOSS family as ambassador for our most luxurious and seductive fragrance to date: BOSS THE SCENT. Theo’s confidence and magnetism make him the perfect choice to represent our stance on seduction today. His personal style and attitude reflect the distinctive urbanity of BOSS, and we are delighted to be working with him”.
Gerd von PPodewils, Senior Vice President Global Communication HUGO BOSS AG.

The Campaign
The film accompanying BOSS THE SCENT has been produced by acclaimed American director, screenwriter and film producer, Darren Aronofsky, famous for Requiem for a Dream, Black Swan and Noah. It is a mesmeric creation, shot in a w arm amber light, a paean to skin, scent and seduction.
Photographers Mert & Marcus directed the print advertising - images that speak of lingering seduction.

Gucci Bamboo : A New Fragrance For Her

Strong and graceful, one of Gucci’s most recognizable design signatures has defined references in today’s Gucci woman. Bamboo flourishes in extreme conditions. Its natural strength compares to steel. Slender and elegant, bamboo soars willowy over other vegetation. The modern Gucci woman shares bamboo’s characteristics. She balances strength and confidence with her innate femininity.
Like bamboo, she is an alluring mix of many sides.

THE FRAGRANCE
Gucci Bamboo emanates the Gucci woman’s diverse sides: her femininity, confidence, savvy and strength. The fragrance represents her essence. A fragrance that is so true to her spirit, it’s tailor-made precisely for the Gucci woman.
Natural and resonant ingredients create a captivating olfactory story. Woody and warm notes vibrate through the heart and base. Deep Sandalwood, heady Tahitian Vanilla and unique grey Amber accords strike a complementary contrast with the exotic floral notes of soft Casablanca Lily, feminine Orange Blossom and delicate Ylang Ylang.

THE BOTTLE
Melding delicate sensibility with strong lines, the bottle becomes a visual statement. The distinctive bottle reveals the scent’s inspiration and Gucci’s famed design signature. Boldly cut art deco, diamond-style glass facets are juxtaposed against the curved, feminine cap and the pale blush scent inside. The sleek cap reveals bamboo’s unmistakable ridged contours in polished silver metal.

THE FACE
The epitome of strength combined with feminine allure. Intriguingly beautiful, emerging star Gal Gadot is the face of Gucci Bamboo.
Gal Gadot
THE CAMPAIGN
Gal stars in a compelling video campaign directed by Fabien Baron. The film reveals the Gucci woman’s distinct sides: her passion, her softness and her fascination.

Lensed by Mert and Marcus, the print campaign transfixes its viewers. An expression of irrepressible allure, the visuals depict a beautifully feminine Gal as the Gucci woman against an elegant bamboo motif. A juxtaposition of undeniable femininity and strength.

My Review
New in Spring 2015, Gucci introduced the Bamboo fragrance, which is in line with their range of accessories (handbag with bamboo handle). Personally, I find a frgrance named Bamboo to be strange. Being an ourdoor person and has seen many bamboo forest, I equate the fragrance to be awe-inspiring, strong, tall and sexy. With every wind or breeze, the bamboo would move and there isa refreshing nature scent that comes along.
Bamboo Forest at Genting Sempah
After having the privilege of trying many different fragrances that are more masculine, trying on a feminine note is a refreshing change. The top note were citrus with flowery (lily) fragrance and it disappear fast (Citrus less than 5 seconds!) before the midtone Vanilla takes over. The base note of sandalwood radiates subtlety. I noticed that the fragrance do not last the whole day but sort of slowly disappear or weaken after about 4-hours. For those of you that love your fragrances long lasting, Bamboo may not appeal too strongly for you - but it promises a new breath of change and allow pleasant whiff of floral woody scent.

The bottle is very nicely designed and as a man, I find it appealing and sexy. Maybe that is the feminine side of me talking. Go check the fragrance out from July 1, 2015 at Parkson and KL Sogo. You may find yourself loving the fragrance like I did.

Happy Father's Day from Dolce&Gabbana

June 21, 2015 is Father's Day. Being a father myself (and a typical Asian), it is not often celebrated as I would say the best celebration would always that the kids remain healthy and obedient to the parents. I believe fathers are often underrated, they aren't as involved as the mother. Being traditional in both thinking and action, fathers are often seen as the breadwinner in the family. This also meant they do spend most of their time away from home. Growing up, my father leaves for work at 6.30am and only come back past 7pm. He works on weekend to earn that extra money so me and my sisters could live a bit more comfortably. He is always my first hero and I will always remember how he held my hand and the gentle firm squeeze he gives as we cross the road - assuring and warmth! Thank you Pa, for the sacrifices you gave, often ignoring your own want and needs.

For this Father's Day, Dolce&Gabbana shared with me (via their PR) two sets of interview questions by two very well known actor that are the brand ambassador. Colin Farrell is the face for Dolce&Gabbana INTENSO and Matthew McConaughey, the face for Dolce&Gabbana The One for Men. Both of them are father, and here are their take on being father.
-----
Colin Farrell – Father’s Day Q&A
What is the most important thing in your life?
The most important things in my life are friends and family and not of course
necessarily in that order. Family is kind of everything you know –it is such a complex idea, such a complex concept. And yet there is something
so simple that can be derived from spending time with your family that’s just
incredibly life affirming and rewarding. Family means a lot to me.

What are your preferred moments with your children?
All of them, there is no unpreferred moments with my boys. I find, that with
being a parent, being a dad you just wish you had a greater understanding,
comprehension of how to do it right, how to steer them in the right direction,
how to love kindly but not smotheringly, how to discipline with compassion and yet strength and honesty and fairness.My days usually start and finish with eachof my boys which is a pretty majestic way to live.

Has becoming a father changed your life?
Yes, becoming a father has changed my life for sure. I mean I wouldn’t know
how becoming a dad has changed my life; I wouldn’t really know how to
quantify it. There is an enormous relief in finally having some very physical and very tangible understanding of how you are no longer the centre of your own universe. That you are not the sun anymore, you become a moon that revolves around the lives of your children and they become the sun. So that is kind of self-servingly one of the most beautiful things about being a dad.
Do you celebrate Father’s Day?
This year I was very aware of Father’s Day because there was texts coming
through and I actually bought into it, it was really sweet. I don’t know if I
maybe feel more comfort in being a dad or what it was, but this year a lot of
my friends were texting Happy Father’s Day and I was texting them back and
then texting other friends of mine who have kids Happy Father’s Day and it
felt like I was part of a club that is not the worst club in the world.

What do you like about being a father?
It is an extension on the idea of family - in one hand it is incredibly complicated I find to be a father. I haven’t read any books but I know that if I did they would just confound me even more, that
there is no direct science to it, that like art and like life it is an exercise, the
most extreme exercise in trial and error because the consequences are so great.For the first time in your life you are not the most important thing in your world.For the first time in your life you know you really have an understanding of whatit is to love unconditionally and it is a pretty extraordinary gift.

What are your intimate moments?
My intimate moments are moments shared with family and friends. I have deep friendships and very deep connections with those family members I have in my
life, particularly my two sons and my sisters and my brother and both my
parents are still alive. The simple things; we hike a lot –I get out in nature a lot. I do love the city but I like to vacillate between heavily populated areas and as I said the kinesis and the chaos and the noise and the
energy of the city and then into the silence and the tranquillity of just your own solitude in nature.

-----
Father’s Day Q&A Matthew McConaughey

What would be your perfect Father’s Day present?
My perfect Farther’s Day present is what we’ve done the last couple of times.
The kids and my wife all come in and bring me breakfast in bed, we hang out,
and then they bring their breakfast, and we eat so we don’t get out of bed,
usually, until 10.30.  Get up kind of late, even 11am.  Then we usually do
something with the family around the house.

Usually we’ll just go eat outside, and take the top off the hot tub, put on some music, and then I’ll manage stuff for lunch, then we’ll spend the whole day just outside, all playing around together.  Until we get to the evening, and then we
usually cook again.  In the evening, open up a bottle of wine.
And we spend the day together.

What’s the best thing about being a father?
Father was the only thing in my life that I ever knew I wanted to be.  When I
was eight years old, I knew I wanted to be a father.  I thought I maybe wanted to be a Washington Redskin running back, but I grew out of that.  I always
know I wanted to be a father.  For me, it’s always been the ultimate
responsibility.  The beginning of the ultimate shadow a man can leave in his life - his children.
What is the most important thing to your father thought you?
A few things. Take responsibility for yourself.  Self-reliance.  Don’t say can’t.  And don’t lie. Now, it’s okay to bullshit, but don’t lie.
What every day things remind you of your father?
I’ve got a great picture of him, right when you come in the house, of him
dancing in his underwear.  He loved to dance.
And that’s always a fun reminder. The kids know exactly who he is, and
understand he’s no longer physically here, but he’s papa. He was Captain Fun.
He loved being the host.  He loved to cook, and have a beer, and dance, and
socialise. He also was a sticker for ‘if you start work at 8am, and you work till
6pm, that doesn’t mean you show up at 8 am. That means you’re on the phone working at 8am. So if you show up at 8 and you’re on the phone at 8.02am,
you’re two minutes late. He was very strict about that. And so he instilled a
very good work ethic in us.

What is the most important thing you want your kids to remember?
The one thing that our kids know, that they’re always going to know, is that
they’re loved.  My mother had a great line: ‘I love you, I don’t like you like that’.So when we got in trouble, we never thought ‘but you don’t love me’. And she
used to say: ‘no, I love you, but you’re in trouble right now, because I don’t likewhat you just did’.

Did becoming a father change you?
Sure. A man gets better peripheral vision when he becomes a father, because
everywhere I go now, I'm here and I’ve got my wife and my two kids in my
pocket. So everything I do is a representation back to them.  The way I take
care of myself, the way we take care, we stay out of trouble, to my own self
survive, I'm the king of the household, I'm the dad, I'm the father.

Are you a strict father?
Strict disciplined.  We have fun, but there have to be clear rules and we stick to them.  My wife and I are on the same page. We don’t play good cop bad cop.
We’re on the same page, we’re very bottom line as to how we parent, we’re
very clear.  The kids know it’s clear so we’re in sync. I wouldn't say strict but disciplined. Rules, you’ve got to follow them, if you don’t follow them, there are
consequences.

Press Release : James Bond 007 For Women Launched

JAMES BOND 007 FRAGRANCES LAUNCHES 007 FOR WOMEN

Caterina Murino
James Bond 007 fragrances announce the launch of their female line with 007 for Women, a new exciting moment for Bond fans worldwide.  The powerful female counterpart to the three existing male fragrances in the 007 collection was inspired by the iconic women found in Bond’s seductive and daring world.

007 for Women is ‘dangerously seductive’. An intoxicating combination of intellect and enigmatic allure, the Bond Woman’s personality enchants everyone she meets. Eloquent, witty, courageous and uncommonly beautiful, her captivating charm is desirable and dangerous in equal measure that no man – not even James Bond - can resist her!

Many iconic actresses have shaped the Bond film world over the years, interpreting the multifaceted character of the Bond Woman with impeccable savoir-faire and inspiring generations of women around the world.  Caterina Murino in her role as Solange in 2006’s critically acclaimed Casino Royale, proves that she has a natural ability to portray the strength and intrigue of the modern Bond Woman; making Caterina the perfect ambassador for the 007 for Women fragrance.

Her exquisite black silk-satin gown takes great prominence in the campaign. Designed exclusively by award-winning 007 costume designer Lindy Hemming, it is seen flowing over Caterina’s body and draped low at the back, enhancing the fine game of seduction. The dress also features black Swarovski beading as a stylistic reference to the perfume flacon’s style cues.
Caterine - the new face for James Bond 007 for Women
The fragrance is a modern interpretation of an oriental fragrance. Its appeal lies in its rich, strong and tenacious character, projecting a sense of effortless elegance, strong personality and the olfactive dream of escaping to another world.

Dark yet feminine ingredients convey an air of thrilling intimacy.  An initial burst of spicy Black Pepper enveloped in Rose Milk ignites an intriguing paradox of danger and sensuality.  Alongside this, the familiar fruity character of Blackberry is combined with the feminine softness of White Floral Jasmine.  The rich, sensual drydown, which is the key to any Oriental signature is driven by Black Vanilla and tantalizing White Musk, with a touch of elegant Cedarwood.

The flacon is a highly reflective dark glass  mirroring the Bond Woman contradictory characteristics.

The diamond-cut pattern on the bottle surface signals an evolution from the texture of the original male Signature bottle, taking in rounded, feminine cues. Multifaceted planes create a kaleidoscopic effect on the bottle’s surface, reminiscent of  imagery seen in the opening sequences of classic Bond films as well as in the fragrance TV campaign ad.

The shapely collar of the bottle recalls a woman’s seductive décolleté, marked with a contrasting rose gold trim.

Press Release : Hugo Woman and Hugo Man

AN INTRODUCTION TO FREJA BEHA ERICHSEN AND TO ADRIEN SAHORES

Together they are trailblazers, in charge of their own destinies and experiences;

self-assured, individual and full of original character.

MEET FREJA BEHA ERICHSEN

Known for her unique and captivating beauty, Freja Beha Erichsen has a femininity that carries a subtle boyish twist, much like the HUGO Woman fragrance.   With an edgy yet fresh spirit, she is frequently hailed as the ‘Queen of Cool’, a description first voiced by New York magazine. Today, Freja is one of today’s most celebrated female models, appearing in the world’s best campaigns and runway shows, including HUGO BOSS, and with Vogue citing her as one of its top models of the 2000s.

A Danish native now living in New York, Freja has a unique and original style, self-expressed in tattooed personal odes and words including ‘float’ and ‘serendipity is life’, and in her love of travel and music – Freja is also a talented musician who plays the drums, guitar and piano.

Freja’s life philosophy?  “Embrace life and not be afraid to do things outside of your comfort zone; just jump into things!”

MEET ADRIEN SAHORES
One of the top male models of the moment, Adrien Sahores is unmistakeably charismatic, cool and original, just like the HUGO Man fragrance.  With an infectious zest for life and spirit, he perfectly embodies the sentiment of the fragrance.

A Parisian, he is also fluent in English and Italian – Adrien lived in Italy for a number of years as a child.  He describes travel and the experiencing of life around the world as something that fascinates him and as one of the opportunities he relishes as a model.  In downtime, he cites football as a passion, even describing it, tongue in cheek, as his fall-back career.

HUGO Woman
Your fragrance, your way

The new fragrance by HUGO

This spring HUGO introduces a new fragrance for women who live the HUGO attitude: passionate, bold and always at the forefront of a new, empowered generation that does things in its way and lives up to the motto ‘invent yourself’.

The HUGO Woman
The HUGO Woman is a trailblazer, who leads rather than follows, with a passion for the extraordinary in everything she pursues.

Inventive to the core, her dynamism inspires those around her. Here is a woman who seizes life, embracing all it has to offer. Originality is everything; surprise all. She is a pioneer: unique in her character, in her style, and in the scent that spurs her to live life on her own terms. Others aspire to be her. She sets the mold.

Her perfume is the mark she makes on the world. She demands that it drives her curiosity and captures her imagination. For this most individual of individuals, this can only mean the HUGO Woman fragrance – a scented innovation that allows her to wear it her way.

The fragrance
HUGO Woman is a fruity, floral fragrance with an unconventional, boyish twist, combining unexpected naturals and pioneering molecules.

The scent creates a contrast of tones and sensations, fusing traditionally feminine and unexpected masculine notes to redefine the conventions of female fragrances to reflect HUGO’s minimalist glamour.

Top Notes
Ripe boysenberry and sparkling Italian mandarin are offset by the herbaceous mountain freshness of Himalayan red grass. The scent’s opening speaks of uplift, adventure and the lure of the fresh experience.

Middle Notes
Jasmine sambac and plush, darkly fruity black plum meet the enigmatic elegance of iris and the spicy, smoky intensity of Indian black tea; the latter adding an unexpected boyish twist. HUGO Woman’s heart is a compelling mix of heady femininity and masculine intrigue.

Base Notes
The base notes are a revelation: captive woods in which shimmering sandalwood laced with cedar, is warmed by voluptuously feminine amber. The resulting dry down is riveting: its sillage is exquisitely rich, creamy and potent, with a chic contemporary dryness.

The flacon design
The HUGO Woman flacon comprises a circle of transparent glass – sleek, with an air of minimalism - revealing a clear juice. A groove reaching around the bottle reveals a hidden scarlet ring, a discreet feminine touch, defining, yet low-key. It speaks to the individual with her own defiant style.

HUGO MAN

The HUGO man refuses to be typecast. A true original, he believes that rules are made to be challenged, moulds to be broken and personal potential should be explored to the max. The fragrance HUGO by HUGO BOSS – hailed by perfumers as a great modern classic since its debut a decade ago - is the clean, simple choice for this next generation male, today’s non-conformist “Freethinker”.

For the HUGO man, life is an adventure full of opportunities and challenges for him to meet head-on, in his own, confident and inimitable way. The fragrance itself - a fresh, clean combination of fruits, herbs and aromatic pine – is as distinctive as the man who wears it.

HUGO The Fragrance

Top Notes
The HUGO fragrance opens with a fresh burst of fruit and vibrant green top notes, awakening the senses. Green apple combines beautifully with bergamot, cedar leaves, basil and thyme - pure, refreshing and very much alive.

Heart Notes
Here, the aromatic core of the fragrance is revealed. A distinctive blend of lavender, geranium, sage and clove notes reveal the clean, aromatic heart of the fragrance. This naturally fresh yet completely individual mix is key in making the HUGO fragrance the modern classic it is.

Base Notes (dry-down)
The base of the fragrance evokes the pine forest by the sea that originally inspired the fragrance: the woody dry down is provided by a combination of sandalwood, vetiver, cedar wood and oak moss. Fir balsam gives HUGO its much-coveted, characteristic piny scent.

HUGO The Bottle. The Package.

Like the fragrance within, the very original HUGO bottle has also become a modern classic.  Non-conforming to traditional fragrance bottles, the solid glass bottle with silver screw top is fashioned like an army hip flask, but with a twist.

Christmas 2014 Qs and As with Scarlett Johansson, Matthew McConaughey and Kate King

Scarlett Johansson
1.          What do you do in your free time over Christmas?
Over the holidays I like to watch old movies, read and bake.

2.          Do you have a favourite Christmas song?
My favorite holiday crooners are Nat King Cole and Bing Crosby.

3.          Do you have a favourite Christmas film?
My favorite holiday movie is Home Alone 2, believe it or not!

4.          What do you look for when selecting the perfect gift for a friend or loved one?
I always look for a present that my friend or loved one covets but would never ask for
themselves. I also love to give gifts that can be keepsakes, like The One Collector’s Edition -
the bottles with unique coins are beautiful!

5.          What is the most precious Christmas gift you have received, and why was that particular
        gift so special?
The most special gift I ever received was when my brother got me a gift certificate to our favorite childhood restaurant. It was an opportunity for us to spend time together, reminisce and finally try the daiquiris we were always too young to sample.

6.              Red is inherently festive, what festive thoughts does red conjure for you?
I love red all year round, but at Christmas it means even more. It makes me think of getting glammed up for the red carpet, or parties with my friends, and of course it brings out passion in everyone.

7.              Christmas is a time for celebration, how do you prepare yourself and make yourself feel great for holiday season parties?
I make sure I hit the gym a lot before the holidays. Then I don't feel guilty about over indulging at holiday parties!

8.              You are often spotted wearing red, what do you like about the colour?
Red is the perfect colour for the red carpet and fun events, and if I’m not wearing a red outfit I’ll rarely step out without a red lip.  When I wear red I feel passionate, feminine, and powerful.

9.              Do you ever collect any items that may be considered special?
Collectibles to me can be of any value or description. They are my treasures that evoke special memories. That’s why The One Collector’s Edition fragrance is so great, it gives you an ornament to keepsake, long after the fragrance may be finished. The bottle because of its unique look will always bring character to any women’s dresser.

1.             Do you find it difficult to keep in shape over Christmas?
Oh, yes absolutely! I let myself off. And I say to myself - you’re going to put on ten.  Let’s do it! It needs to be done.

2.             Do you go on diet after Christmas?
Yes. You got something to work for. I try to say, you know what?  Don’t sit there and look at it, let it go.

3.             Do you have any special Christmas decorations?
We have old stockings. My mother passed down a lot of our stockings that we had as kids so every year she brings stockings. And now our kids have stockings too.  We keep those. We have boxes of old ornaments that my mother passed down that we used to have on our tree. We still have the same star that was on our tree that we put on our tree to this day.

4.             Do you have any Christmas traditions?
The tradition is getting the family together, and all the grandkids and all the kids together.  We don’t go anywhere;  we stay at home and tell the stories. Some of the same old stories are always told. That has always been the most important tradition – just to have my family together.

5.             Do you have any favourite game on Christmas eve?
Not really.  We don’t have a ritual of certain games we play.  There’s no ritual to games.

6.             What do you for the New Year’s Eve?
My wife’s tradition, in her country is to wear all white and go to the ocean and get little white flowers and put them in the sea. We’ve done it the last few years.

1.             What is your Christmas Day look? Do you put any make-up on? Do you keep it simple and fresh?
On Christmas day with my family, I don't wear any make-up. When we go to church, I wear simple make-up with a red lip. I think at Christmas there is no better time to wear a red lip.

2.             How will you be celebrating New Year's Eve this year?
I'm going to Toronto for New Year's Eve. That is my ritual, to go back home and celebrate with my childhood friends. Usually just have a party and a couple of drinks, bottles of champagne.

3.             What is your top beauty tip for the classic New Year's Eve look?
I definitely love a smoky eye on New Year's Eve. Smoky eye is very festive. Lots of highlighter. A little glitter. Lots of highlighter and a smoky eye.

4.             Do you change your beauty routine in the winter months?
Not a lot, just slightly. Maybe I'll stop using a toner if my skin is drying out. But generally, it is pretty much the same. Little treats here and there, put on a bit more moisturizer. I don't use as much sunscreen in the winter. I find that sunscreen is quite heavy on my skin, so if I can get away without wearing it I prefer to do that.

5.             Do you wear moisturizer all the time during summer?
Not all the time, but if I am going outside, I try to. Emphasis on the word ‘try’.

6.             Do you wear a different fragrance at different times of the year?
No, I don't actually. I find a fragrance I love. I love that if my friends smell it, they instantly recognize it as me. I like to be loyal to a fragrance. I think if something smells good, it smells good all year round.

7.             How would you describe your winter style in general?
I love dressing in the winter. As much as I love shorts and a crop top, there is nothing nicer than a beautiful coat. I wear darker colours with a lot of black all year round, but in the winter even more so. I love beautiful dark navy blues and greys, especially for my nails.

8.             Is there anyone you find it difficult to buy Christmas presents for and why?
I think boys are always harder to buy for than women. Cologne, every Christmas, cologne is such a good go-to. Again, it is something they will always need, even if they got some last Christmas. They will need it eventually. I think that is a good go-to gift. A watch is a good gift. And socks… Men are hard to buy for.

9.             You travel so much for your job. What is your favourite place to spend Christmas?
I love spending Christmas in Florida, obviously. I grew up in Canada, so a white Christmas is nice. I love a white Christmas. But I spend Christmas in Florida and New Year's in Canada. It is nice to have the best of both worlds. A hot Christmas and a cold New Year's to make up for it.

10.         Do you have any funny Christmas memories from your childhood?
Usually we had massive Christmases, my aunt and uncle from outside would come in and we would have dinner and then go into the basement. Actually, it all started in the living room, we’d turn on music and be dancing to Christmas music and some classic dad rock. Dire Straits. Everyone would go crazy with their dance moves…

11.         You would be dancing?
I can fill the dance floor like nobody's business, it just takes a little while. Normally, I have no game that is my biggest problem when it comes to dancing but if I am with my friends, it is all about the dancing. We will have dance parties. Literally, for hours, we will all be going at it.
