Homemade Smoothie : AvocadoPineapplePapayaHoneydewMilk

Fresh from yesterday's review on the concoction made from Papaya, Pineapple, Honeydew and Milk and taking note of what should be "more" and what should be "less", the refinement to the "formula" was done today. Like how i mentioned about eating "sustainably", it is more important that one can take the same (or about the same food) everyday and preferably, as "raw" and "unprocessed" as possible. So, with an extra Avocado laying around (and ripe!) and no bread left to eat with, we decided to add in this superfood into the smoothie.
One whole Avos. Yummy already!
Same thing was placed into the blender but this time I went easy on the Papaya and put in two slices with 2 slices of pineapple and one slice of honeydew(because the other portion was eaten the night before!). 1/2 cup of milk was placed in the blender. With Avocado being "creamy", i wanted to see the consistency with 1/2 cup of milk.
From top to bottom : Papaya, Honeydew, Pineapple, Avocado and Milk
The consistency: Thick if no water is added. 1/2 cup of water is a good start and aim to get a consistent mixture .
Babyfood consistency...errrmmm...
So, had to add in half a cup of water....and it resulted in a...
The texture: Smooth.
MUCH better!
The smell: More balance smell of mixed fruits.
The color: Light orange (due to papaya)
The taste: Subtle avocado and better hint of honeydew with less papaya-ish taste.
The Verdict: ON!
Will I Try It Again?: YES. Next with Spirulina and perhaps, Whey protein!
Nice!
